AMERICA GOES SHIITE; BIN LADEN ENRAGED
WASHINGTON (Sept. 7)-- In response to Osama bin Laden's videotaped demand that America convert to Islam, hundreds of millions of Americans have become Shiites.
"You have to understand that bin Laden is a Sunni," one analyst said. "He hates Shiites worse than poison. It's as though Oral Roberts told a stadium full of people to let Jesus into their hearts and they all became Catholics."
The news of America's mass Shia conversion apparently caught Mr. bin Laden by surprise, as he has issued a second tape in which he says, "I bet you assholes think that's funny."
